Empowering Nonprofits Through Art & Community

At Make Creative Studio, we believe in the power of art to heal, uplift, and connect. That’s why we proudly partner with nonprofits to provide creative spaces for those in need.

Patty’s Hope

Creative arts ministry for moms of kids in foster care system in Richmond VA

Several times a year, we welcome women and volunteers from Patty’s Hope for Art Nights—a time of shared meals, creative expression, and healing. Led by Art Therapist Elizabeth King, ATR-BC, LPC, these sessions offer a safe space for women to explore art as a tool for restoration.

Patty’s Hope is a Richmond-based nonprofit supporting biological mothers whose children have entered foster care, focusing on safe housing, trauma care, healthy community, and life skills.

The Wellness Center at Second Baptist

We also collaborate with the Wellness Center at Second Baptist Church to support community outreach events. The Wellness Center provides a welcoming space for holistic care, recreation, and connection, aligning with our mission to make creativity accessible to all.
