Option 1 – Gratitude Boxes
Gratitude Boxes have been a popular project in the past for adults, youth, and children. They offer a meaningful way to record daily or weekly gratitudes or prayers, serving as a gentle reminder to practice thankfulness for the people and blessings in our lives. Participants begin with a small metal box (similar to an Altoid tin), then fill it with items such as a pencil, simple gratitude prompts, and blank paper for adding more reflections. Materials often include Mod Podge glue and sealer, watercolor paints and paper, scissors, and other creative supplies.
Starting at $18 per person
Up to 24 participants
Option 2 – Mixed Media Mini Canvas and Easel
Mini Easels are a mixed media project designed to reflect the theme or purpose of the event. The studio provides a prompt to spark inspiration for each canvas—for example, “Create a canvas inspired by the music in your heart,” or “Design a piece that expresses a word reflecting a positive attribute you possess.” Each participant receives a small canvas and easel to keep, along with guided steps to build layers using various papers and materials to create their artwork. Supplies include the canvas and easel, Mod Podge glue and sealer, scrapbook paper, vellum, tissue paper, and a variety of collage materials.
Starting at $18 per person
Up to 24 participants
Option 3 – Visual Journaling
Visual Journaling is one of our most popular offerings and serves as a welcoming introduction to the world of creative expression through art and reflection. Participants begin with a few guided relaxation techniques, followed by a demonstration on how to start and use a visual journal. Learn More

Option 5 – Jasper Johns Inspired Numbers Painting
In this twist on a traditional paint night, participants will choose a date or number that is significant to them and create an abstract art piece inspired by artist Jasper Johns. Examples include Scripture references, birthdates, or sobriety anniversaries. The instructor will lead a brief group lesson to introduce the concept, then open the studio for painting and fellowship as participants bring their meaningful pieces to life. This project is perfect for those who want the fun of a paint night while exploring a deeper, more personal connection to their art.
Starting at $16 per person
Up to 24 participants
Option 6 – Robots!
This beloved activity is a one of a kind opportunity to bring out your inner kid. Using primarily recycled materials, a glue gun and a few unique items, this out of the box project is a hit with everyone. Participants will create a robot that has a job and purpose in their specific walk of life. Diaper changer? Anxiety Eater? Budget Keeper? You name it and a robot has been made for it here at Make. Relaxing and fun, join us in making this one of a kind project that you will remember for years.
