Landscape Painting with Carson Overstreet
Fridays 9:30 AM – 1 PM | 3/21, 3/28, 4/11, 4/25, 5/2, 5/9
In this six-week course, professional artist Carson Overstreet guides you through landscape painting, emphasizing value, design, and techniques from John Carlson and Scott Christensen. You’ll create 3–4 large-scale paintings, gaining skills and confidence. Water-mixable oils are used, but acrylic painters are welcome! $360
Acrylic Painting with Lora Monahan
Tuesdays 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM | 3/25, 4/8, 4/15, 4/22, 4/29
In this five-week class, featured artist at Gild and Ash, Lora Monahan will guide you through the basics of representational painting. Focus on values, composition, and color mixing while creating new paintings each week. Small class size ensures personalized instruction, perfect for all skill levels. $195

Open Studio
Saturday 4/12 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Bring your own project or come in and be inspired by materials in the studio. A staff member will be on hand to assist with questions or offer helpful advice. Reserve your spot today so we know you are coming. Want to bring a friend at the last minute? We have drop in spots available too. Cost is never a barrier. Ages 15 and up are welcome to attend. $10
Watercolor Workshop with Kate Burns

We are excited to welcome Artist Kate Burns back to the Studio for a new Watercolor Workshop! For this workshop, you will learn how to create your own painting modeled after a reference photo. Kate will bring you the the basics of watercolor or help hone your already existing skills. $75

Spring Watercolor Class with Kate Burns
Sat, May 3 – June 7 | 9 AM – 12 PM
Join professional Artist Kate Burns for this watercolor class. Class will explore a variety of techniques and skills for the beginner to the advanced. Students will create 3-4 small watercolor paintings while learning a variety of techniques for both loose and realistic approaches. $180
Hands of Healing: A Therapeutic Art Workshop for Care Providers

Creating Clay Serving Vessels for Counselors and Therapists
As a therapist, you hold space for others—now, take a moment for yourself. In this special workshop, create a handcrafted clay vessel, a symbol of the care and strength you offer every day.
Through the meditative process of hand-building, reconnect with your own healing, reflect, and renew in a supportive, creative space. Join fellow therapists in this restorative experience and craft a meaningful piece that embodies resilience, self-care, and the power of your work.

Little Masterpieces: A Tiny Acrylic Paintings Workshop with Lora Monahan

Celebrate the art of acrylic painting—on a tiny scale! In this fun and relaxed workshop with Lora Monahan, you’ll create one or two charming 5” x 5” paintings, perfect for gifting or displaying. With step-by-step guidance, you’ll explore composition, color, and brush techniques to bring your mini masterpiece to life. $95
Paint Landscapes Alongside Carson Overstreet
June 9–13 | 9:30 AM – 1 PM
Join artist Carson Overstreet for a step-by-step acrylic landscape painting experience! Each day, participants will complete a “large-scale” painting of a different scenic subject, from rolling hay bales to the Blue Ridge Mountains and the serene Lowcountry marshes. $295

Custom Ceramic Clay Address Plaque Workshop with Elizabeth King
Saturday, June 21 | 10 AM – 12 PM
Custom Ceramic Address Plaque Workshop: Spend the morning creating a custom piece of art for your home. Students will join Professional Art Therapist, Elizabeth King, ATR-BC, LPC and create a plaque with their home address on it using materials supplied by the studio. The lesson will guide all levels of clay enthusiasts in how to make this special keepsake for your home. $85
*Return on 7/19 to glaze your creation.

Painting from Life with Carson Overstreet
July 7–11 | 9:30 AM – 1 PM
In this 5-session, water-mixable oil painting class, students will paint from life, capturing scenes like fruit, flowers, and everyday objects. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced painter, you’ll learn composition, working with values, and focusing on key elements of your painting in a relaxing, supportive environment. Each class includes a lecture, warm-up exercises, a demo by Carson, and hands-on painting time. $295.
Clay Wind Bells Workshop with Elizabeth King
Aug 9–16 | 10 AM – 12 PM
In this unique workshop, participants will join Art Therapist Elizabeth King, ATR-BC, LPC in creating a set of clay wind bells. Students will given tools and forms to help mold and create their own unique set of bells just in time for Fall winds and Christmas decorations. *Students will return on 8/16 to glaze their creations.
*If you are unable to return on 8/16 to glaze your art, please coordinate arrangements with the teacher. $85
