What is Make Creative Studio?
Make is a nonprofit creative arts ministry in Richmond, Virginia, that exists to serve our diverse population by bringing the healing power of our Creator to all. Every time you book a class, camp, or party at the Studio, you support our good work in underserved populations within Greater Richmond.

Needle's Eye Creatives Cohort

We’ve got another amazing Creatives Cohort meeting on the horizon! This event by Needle’s Eye Ministries will feature guest speaker Ryan Lauterio,
CEO of The Maker Institute of Studio Art and Theology. Ryan will share some thoughts and guide us through a creative exercise to drive home the value of art in every sphere of life. -

Artist Ben Lansing is exhibiting his thoughtfully rendered illustrations featuring church history from November 22nd-January 3rd in the Gallery.

Merry & Bright Christmas Party for Women in Recovery

Embroidered Christmas Ornament Workshop
Saturday, November 30, 10AM-12PM
Looking for some Christmas fun for you and a friend? Guest Artisan Sarah Day of Sparky Frames will lead us in a Christmas stitching project on November 30th! Make an ornament at the workshop, learn basic embroidery techniques and leave with plans to make more just in time for Christmas.

Christmas Watercolor Workshop
Saturday, December 7th, 9AM-12PM
We are excited to welcome Artist Kate Burns back to the Studio for this special Christmas Watercolor Workshop! During this class, you will learn how to make snow and bokeh with both loose and tight watercolor techniques. The cost of the class covers all needed supplies. -
Kids’ Christmas Workshop
December 13, 4-7 PM
Join Make Creative Studio for a fun evening of gift making and creativity for children ages 5 - 12. Your child will make a gift to give to a loved one, create their own Christmas goodies and decorate a cookie. Pizza will be served. -
NEW Homeschool Art (Tuesdays, Winter/Spring 2025)
Tuesdays, January 7th- May 6th, 2025. Ages 5-10.

Middle School After School Art - Winter/Spring 2025
Mondays from 4-5:30 PM, January 6th-May 12th.
Professional artist and teacher Hannah Kehrer will be offering an after school art class for middle school aged students in grades 6 - 8. Students of all interests and abilities are welcome.
